With the assistance of The Heart of Tyler and the Smith County Historical Society, Tyler R.I.P. will be able to provide you with a unique tour of the historic downtown Tyler area. Using the downtown area as a backdrop, Tyler R.I.P. will intrigue you with not only a brief history of the downtown area, but also give you stories of myths, legends and "ghosts" of downtown Tyler, Texas. So join us on this unique tour and you, too, will have a greater appreciation for the History of Tyler, Texas!

The Tours: Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25

Tours begin at 8 p.m. each day

at the T.B. Butler Plaza in Downtown Tyler.

Tickets: Nighttime tours are $7 per person (a portion of the proceeds will benefit both The Heart of Tylerand Smith County Historical Society). Our tour will reveal urban legends, ghostly sightings and myths and tell gruesome tales of murder and mayhem. Be sure to bring your gear and a flashlight!

Special Offer for Oct. 25 Tour Participants: Those who dare will have the opportunity not only to take the tour, but to also join Tyler RIP in an overnight investigation in an historic downtown building!
